PHOTOGRAPHY – THE BASICS
We are realistic about what you can comprehend and achieve in a one-day photography course workshop and have set a plan to ensure you walk away happy and confident that you have the right platform to build your photographic knowledge.
So join us and learn the camera basics and controls. We focus on aperture, shutter and ISO, their function and how to use them in your family, travel or fun moment. When to use the built-in flash and when not to.We get you off AUTO and apply specific practical outdoor exercises to reinforce your learning and more.

Program & AUTO mode; Memory Card Hygiene and File Size; Composition and Focus; ISO, Noise and Grain; Shutter Speeds and Shutter Priority; Aperture and Depth of Field
All students must have a mirrorless or DSLR camera and are encouraged to bring a pen. Handout notes provided.

Course Days and Times:
Fridays: 9.30am – 3.30pm
Saturdays: 9.30am – 3.30pm
Sundays: 9.30am – 3.30pm
Dress suitably for the weather and the environment of kneeling or sitting outdoors when taking a photo. A solid backpack or camera bag is recommended to carry all your personal and camera accessories as we move between the classroom and the outdoor backdrop.
