Simple, relevant knowledge and learning that will build confidence and help you to take great photos. We offer programs for students at all levels; for the happy snapper through to aspiring professional photographers. Avoid the ` it didn’t work out’ or ‘I missed that shot’ with practical, common sense learning.

Whilst we have had some magical moments in our careers as photographers we will keep our feet on the ground and help you achieve your goals. We are a team of experienced professional photographers that have a passion for teaching.

About the Founder – Terry Rogan

3ad780dTerry Rogan established the College back in 1988 and the business grew rapidly with training across Australia. The College offered both full & part time courses in Photo Processing and in Professional Photography and thousands of students have been trained over the years. In 1996, the College pioneered nationally accredited traineeships for the photographic industry and mapped key digital competencies into the AQTF.

At around this time, Terry also invested heavily into digital capture technology. His event photography revolutionized santa photography and he worked with key corporates including Coca Cola, Fosters, NRL, Telstra, American Express and McDonalds at many promotional events .

Kodak appointed Terry to manage the photo processing and retail support for all non-Kodak accredited photographers during the 2000 Sydney Olympics responsible for the processing, scanning and/or printing of all the magical sporting moments for photo journalists of many countries.

Today Terry remains active with his event photography and has been called upon to rewrite the workshops in today’s digital camera world for keen amateurs.

His business philosophy and photographic training philosophy are one of the same, ‘Create the vision and the image will appear. Focus on the small important detail before you press the button’.

Many thanks for a fantastic DSLR course on Saturday. I learned more in one day than I’ve learned in a year of tinkering around with my camera on my own. What an epiphany! Now I just need to practice, practice, practice. I’ll certainly recommend you to all my friends. Many thanks Terry!
I was one of the happy participants at the digital camera conducted in August which I enjoyed and found very useful. Thanks Terry!
Wow what a course!(Lens & Sunset) I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Terry is a wealth of knowledge and his passion in sharing this is clearly demonstrated throughout the days activities. I would recommend ANY of his courses whether you are a beginner or more advanced photographer. I swear I will never have my camera set to “Auto” again. Thanks Terry.
