About the Founder – Terry Rogan
Terry Rogan established the College back in 1988 and the business grew rapidly with training across Australia. The College offered both full & part time courses in Photo Processing and in Professional Photography and thousands of students have been trained over the years. In 1996, the College pioneered nationally accredited traineeships for the photographic industry and mapped key digital competencies into the AQTF.
At around this time, Terry also invested heavily into digital capture technology. His event photography revolutionized santa photography and he worked with key corporates including Coca Cola, Fosters, NRL, Telstra, American Express and McDonalds at many promotional events .
Kodak appointed Terry to manage the photo processing and retail support for all non-Kodak accredited photographers during the 2000 Sydney Olympics responsible for the processing, scanning and/or printing of all the magical sporting moments for photo journalists of many countries.
Today Terry remains active with his event photography and has been called upon to rewrite the workshops in today’s digital camera world for keen amateurs.
His business philosophy and photographic training philosophy are one of the same, ‘Create the vision and the image will appear. Focus on the small important detail before you press the button’.
